Friday, January 22, 2010 - On Saturday at approximately 0030 hours, the Hose Company was alerted for Tower 5 as part of the second alarm apartment fire assignment for 102 Seevue Court, in the 301 box area. Tower 5 (w/4, Forton) and Chief 5-2 marked up shortly after alert. Chief 3 (Snyder) was first to arrive with heavy fire showing from a three story garden style apartment building and requested the second alarm. Upon arrival, Tower 5 was instructed to conduct vertical ventilation and then was instructed to open up division three. Crews operated until approximately 0515 hours then cleared. Chief 3 (Snyder) held the "Seevue Court" command.
