Tuesday, December 15, 2009 - On Tuesday at 1042 hours, the Hose Company and Company 5-9 were alerted for the 10-50 PI at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Lewis Lane. Deputy Chief 5, Engine 512, Engine 513, Rescue and Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert. Deputy Chief 5 was first to arrive at 1044 hours with a two vehicle MVA and one patient. Rescue 5 and Engine 512 were next to arrive, at which point command scaled back to units on the scene. Crews established patient care and put a minor spill in check before clearing. Deputy Chief 5 (Packard) held the "Pulaski Highway" command.
