Wednesday, December 16, 2009 - On Wednesday at 1125 hours, the Hose Company was alerted for two Engines as part of the 3rd alarm assignment for the Church fire at 540 Joppa Farm Road, in the 818 box area. Engine 512 (w/6, Goll) marked up immediately after alert and Engine 514 (w/6, Allers) marked up shortly after alert. While enroute, command advised Engine 512 to report to the scene and Engine 514 to relocate to Company 4 House 1. Engine 512 arrived at 1148 hours and was instructed by command to conduct extensive overhaul operations. Engine 512's crew worked until 1311 hours and then cleared. Chief 8-1 (Petersen) held the "Joppa Farm Road" command.
