Re:Americas 911 Ride - August 16th.Just a note of thanks for the great display of patriotism given by your members. I have travelled south for this Ride since 2003 and have always been impressed by the turnout of Fire companies that show their support. This year was different as I brought 4 fellow officers from my department in Hamilton Ontario that have never been. Each one of these officers commented on the immense show of patriotism while in the USA and they were really moved by your display on the overpasses.Please pass the thanks on to each and every one of your members.Thank you. |

Congratulations to Chrisy!Having retired from the Harford County Division of Emergency Operations myself on July 1, 2008, after 21 years. I had the honor of working with Chrisy for the past 12 years. On behalf of myself, and the entire America’s 9/11 Foundation, a very large THANK YOU to the Susquehanna Hose Company for coming out on Saturday, August 16, in support of our ride.Words cannot express the emotion I felt as we travelled north on I-95 towards the Susquehanna River and were greeted by apparatus from Susquehanna Hose Company on not just one or two, but five, consecutive overpasses as we approached the Susquehanna River. SHCO definitely came out in force and your presence was noted and commented on by the riders. I was figuring we’d get one or two apparatus on one overpass – but you far exceeded that! So, once again, thank you to the entire membership of SHCO for taking time out of your Saturday morning to come out and support our cause.Stay safe! |
