TUESDAY NIGHT TRAINING

On Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 the 52 HOUSE hosted an "Arson Detection & Fire Scene Preservation Class". The class was put on by the Maryland State Fire Marshall's Office. Topics discussed were: When To Request an FM, What To Look For At The Scene, How to Preserve the Scene and DOCUMENTATION!! The class proved to be very beneficial. Special thanks to DSFM's Derek Chapman and Howard Ewing for teaching the class. Dinner was served by none other, than the "52 House Chefs". Thanks to everyone that attended.

 
   
   
COMPANY TRAINING : FEATURING RESCUE 5

On Tuesday evening @ 1900 hours, the Fastest Volunteers gathered at the Havre de Grace Community Center for company training. Tonight’s training was put on by House 4 and featured Rescue 5. Crews were given the opportunity to work with all tools on Rescue 5. Activities included operating the air bag system, stabilization and cutting two vehicles. Training lasted until approximately 2100 hours and then crews returned home. It was a good night of training for all involved. *See Main Page for Pictures*

 
COMPANY TRAINING @ THE 54 HOUSE

On Tuesday evening, members gathered @ House 4 for company training night. Tonights activites included "Hose Company Jeopardy", put on by the Deputy Chief. The game started @ 1900 hours with Team "Packard" vs. Team "Berg". Team Berg dominated the majority of the night, with a 2000 point lead going in to Final Jeopardy, until Team Packard rallied and pulled out the victory. It was a fun night and good learning experience for all that attended. Many thanks to the 33 members that attended and to Deputy Chief Packard for putting on the event.
